PREFACE

The Graduate Program in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology is a graduate program offered by UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, and UMDNJ-Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. It is subject to the rules and regulations of UMDNJ. Administrative aspects such as registration, tuition payment, grade reporting, and course delivery are handled through UMDNJ-Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, the administration base for the Program.

The purpose of the Student Handbook is to serve as a resource for students and others involved in the Program regarding the academic and administrative mechanisms specific to the Graduate Program in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.

Since administrative personnel outside of the Program may not be familiar with the special policies and procedures of this Program, it is to the student's advantage to work through the Office of the Graduate Program in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology for all school-related needs.
