The Center for Injury Research and Policy, located in the Columbus Children's Resarch Institute of Columbus Children's Hospital, is seeking applicants for a tenure track faculty position in injury research. The Center is expanding its research in the areas of traumatic brain injury, impact biomechanics, motor vehicle occupant injury, and injury surveillance and epidemiology. Faculty members will have an appointment in the Department of Pediatrics, Ohio State University College of Medicine. Joint appointments with other departments and colleges within the university are easily arranged.

Applicants should have a doctoral degree in the medical, public health, or related field, and a track record in resarch productivity. Applicants will be considered at the Assistant, Associate, or full Professor levels. Applications from mid-career researchers are strongly encouraged. Salary and benefits are very competitive and are based on experience and academic rank. An attractive startup package will be tailored to the faculty member's needs. The startup package includes sufficient funding to purchase equipment and support research staff, postdoctoral fellows, and/or graduate students.
