Exams and Check-Ups
Available to babies, children
and adults, we provide basic preventive care, including vaccinations,
screening for lead poisoning, high blood pressure, diabetes and
cancer. In addition, we provide treatment for most illnesses, or
referral to specialists when necessary. Regular check-ups and examinations
are your best defense against illness and disease. Don't put them

Women, Infants, and
Children (WIC)
You may be eligible for food
from the government for you and your children. We will let you know
what we can do for you and if you qualify for this program. Call

Obstetrics (Pregnancy)
The better care you take
of yourself when you are pregnant, the healthier and happier you
and your baby will be. We provide complete care for pregnancy and
delivery.
Gynecology and Family
Planning
The decision you make now
about when and how many children you will have will affect you and
your family. We will assist you in making the right choices, and
provide you with the necessary examinations and treatment for the
options you choose.
Geriatrics (Senior
Care)
The Health Center has recently
hired a physician who specializes in senior care.
Infectious
Disease / HIV
In
addition to providing high quality medical care, EBCHC is home to
an HIV Program that was first funded under the Ryan White CARE Act
in 1991 to provide Early Intervention Services (i.e., HIV counseling/testing
and specialty medical care). The Program has steadily developed
since then and now delivers a full range of primary and specialty
medical and dental care for HIV positive clients. Two physicians
certified in both Infectious Diseases and Internal Medicine provide
state of the art out-patient care and personally follow registered
patients in the event hospitalization is required.
HIV
prevention education and screening, community/clinic-based outreach
and case management, adherence counseling, psychological support,
nutrition services are available.
Other
on-site services include social services, financial eligibility
assistance, clinical case coordination, support groups, and community
activities.
Pediatrics
"SHOTS BY TWO" - AN EBCHC
IMMUNIZATION PROGRAM It's the law!
Babies are required to be vaccinated by age two, and children require
their booster shots when they begin school. Without certain vaccinations,
children cannot attend school.
Dental Treatment
Maintaining good oral health
is very important. We offer comprehensive dentistry for the entire
family. The dental staff is highly trained, friendly, and experienced
professionals. We are trained in the latest preventive and restorative
techniques. Dental services are also offered at the Lord Stirling
School located in New Brunswick, for children in grades K through

Podiatry (Foot Care)
Sometimes serious foot
