Research Interests:

Carry out epidemiologic investigations of the effects of chronic exposure to a broad range of environmental toxins, including pesticides and metals on the neurobehavioral development of infants and children. Develop and evaluate new imaging methodologies (Computerized Thermographic Imaging) for assessing possible health effects of xenobiotic estrogens on breast development in peri-pubescent girls. Develop new digital imaging methodologies for assessing children's mouthing behavior as it relates to non-dietary ingestion of environmental toxins. Examine the potential exposure risks to children posed by the use of arsenical wood preservatives (CCA) in playgrounds and home decks.
