Welcome to the new EOHSS website! The creation of this site was a departmental effort but special acknowledgment should be given to Lindsey Kayman of EOHSS and Ermin Babovic of Human Resources who helped make the new site easier to navigate and more informative for the University community.
The Department of Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety Services (EOHSS) provides leadership and strategic vision to promote a culture of health and safety excellence and environmental stewardship within the working, learning and health care environment. Our experienced, professional staff monitors compliance with applicable health, safety and environmental regulations and serve as a resource for the University community.
In addition to our traditional health, safety and chemical waste management functions, EOHSS has also been given a new challenge and expanded role in emergency operations planning as part of the newly created UMDNJ Office of Emergency Management and Occupational Health and Safety.
