Welcome to the Bloodborne Pathogens/Biosafety annual online
training module for UMDNJ laboratory personnel. This module is comprised of 8
sections and contains a total of 21 questions in a multiple choice format.
Each section contains one or more pages covering the following topics: Bloodborne
Pathogens, Modes of Disease Transmission, Legislation Updates, Prevention, Regulated
Medical Waste Handling, Emergencies, Select Biological Agents, and Shipping Biological
Materials and Dry Ice.
Successful completion of this training module is accomplished by answering all questions
in the module correctly and completing the training documentation form at the end.
There is no quiz. A confirmation e-mail will be sent to you upon completion of this
module.
An alternative to this online module, classroom-style training, is also available for
persons who prefer this format. A schedule of the classroom training sessions
