Consultation services available to health care providers, patients and communities for all breastfeeding issues, including, but not limited to

Medical and/or surgical issues for breastfeeding mothers and children
Medication issues for breastfeeding mothers
Failure to thrive in breastfed children
Contraindications to breastfeeding
Insufficient milk syndrome
Jaundice in breastfed infants

Dr. Dermer is available for educational programs such as in-services for providers and staff, Grand Rounds, patient education, and education of the community at large. Patient referrals are welcome. For additional information, please contact Dr. Dermer at dermer@umdnj.edu
