St. John's Family Health Center
St. John's Health Center is a community based health center that provides primary care services to the poor and medically underserved population of the greater New Brunswick area. In addition to primary care, the center offers comprehensive management to individuals affected by HIV including primary care and case management. St. Johns is one of numerous programs run by Catholic Charities in the central New Jersey area and is thereby able to coordinate services between programs such as homeless shelters, psychological treatment, basic assistance, and primary care. It is also a clinical teaching site for medical students, nurse practitioner students, physician assistant students, and family medicine residents. St. Johns serves as the clinical site of the student run and Department supervised HIPHOP program.
