ROBERT WOOD JOHNSON UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL
The residency manages a 24/7 Family Medicine Service and does most of its inpatient rotations at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJUH). It is the hub of a clinically-integrated medical campus that includes the NCI-designated Cancer Institute of New Jersey, the Child Health Institute of New Jersey and The Bristol-Myers Squibb Children's Hospital. FAMILY MEDICINE AT MONUMENT SQUARE
Residents learn ambulatory care working side-by-side with attending physicians at Family Medicine at Monument Square (FMMS). It is conveniently located in downtown New Brunswick. FMMS hosts over 25,000 patient visits per year in 16 examination rooms. We provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, acute and chronic illness management, gynecologic and minor surgical procedures, and alternative and complementary therapies. Equipped with electronic health records, evidence-based medicine and a state-of-the-art DVD educational monitoring system, FMMS is the quintessential learning environment. FRANCIS E. PARKER HOME
Residents obtain Geriatric continuity experience at the Francis E. Parker Homes. Parker Home is a non-profit organization founded in 1907. Facilities include two skilled nursing homes: Parker at Landing Lane New Brunswick, Parker at River Road in Piscataway; and an assisted living residence, Parker at Stonegate in Highland Park; and The Pavilion Community Center. Parker provides the highest quality care in a homelike setting and is one of the few registered Eden Alternative Homes in New Jersey. ST. JOHN 'S FAMILY HEALTH CENTER
Residents get community medicine and women's health experience at St. John's Health Center, a community-based center, run by Catholic Charities. St. John's medical staff provides primary care, psychological treatment, basic assistance, and comprehensive HIV case management for the underserved population of the greater New Brunswick area. St. John's is also a home for the Promise Clinic, a free clinic for the homeless population that is run by RWJMS medical students and is supervised by volunteer faculty at St. John's Health Center. RARITAN BAY MEDICAL CENTER- PERTH AMBOY DIVISION
Residents will obtain a portion or all of their inpatient maternity care experience at Raritan Bay Medical Center- Perth Amboy Division. RBMC is a non-profit hospital located in the City of Perth Amboy. It is part of a facilities network with its sister hospital located in the neighboring City of Old Bridge. Together, both facilities provide a total of 501 beds, a Medical staff of over 500 physicians and specialists and a nationally-recognized nursing and ancillary staff of 1,700 who provide medical-surgical, maternity, pediatric, general and critical care, stroke, behavioral health and emergency services.
