Benefits: This course provides an overview of occupational safety issues, specifically designed to meet the needs of individuals responsible for safety compliance in business, industry or government. The course will provide information concerning safe work practices, regulatory compliance and conducting safety audits. Course participants will gain knowledge in: interpreting occupational safety and standards; recognizing violations to key occupational safety standards; and, developing controls for identified safety hazards.
Intended Audience: Those responsible for occupational safety compliance, including safety officers, facilities operations, plant managers, supervisors, engineers, human resources staff, industrial hygienists and others.
