Benefits: Through lectures and discussions, this three-day course will provide each participant with training, information, hands-on experience, and practical guidance in conducting inspections and evaluating the performance of industrial ventilation systems. The student will be involved in group exercises, situation analyses, and work sample critique procedures. The laboratory portion of the course will provide hands-on experience with instruments for making valid measurements to assess the operation of actual ventilation systems, to interpret the results, and to diagnose problems. Testing and calibration exercises are included. Students must bring a calculator and notebook.
Intended Audience: This course is designed specifically for engineers, industrial hygienists, environmental and safety professionals, and HVAC personnel.
