Benefits: This three-day course presents the legal and technical issues and obligations of lead inspection using US EPA-approved curriculum and Federal regulations.   Through lectures, discussions, demonstrations of modern XRF technology and hands-on experience, the focus is on methods for determining lead in paint, soil and dust.  Provides a four-year certification that is valid for US EPA Region 2 in the State of New York ONLY.

Prerequisites:  No required education or experience.

Intended Audience: Building inspectors, real estate professionals, health department inspectors, housing authority officials, engineers, industrial hygienists, safety professionals, environmental consultants and XRF operators.
