Benefits: Using lectures, discussions, slides and videos, demonstrations and hands-on workshops, this course is designed to satisfy the requirements relative to Asbestos Safety Training (Operations and Maintenance) for New Jersey Public Employees as required by the New Jersey Department of Labor under Subchapter 12 (NJAC 12:100-12.13) "Employee Information and Training." This course also satisfies the U.S. EPA 16-hour training requirement as stated in 40 CFR 763.92 (AHERA) and OSHA 29 CFR 1926.1101 Class III Training. This course will also satisfy New Jersey State, New York State and New York City training requirements.
Intended Audience: Maintenance workers, custodial staff, trades personnel, and others who may have to disturb asbestos-containing materials in buildings while working and persons responsible for other asbestos control programs.
