Benefits: This intensive one day course is designed to provide the federally mandated training to those who deal with all phases of hazardous materials or hazardous waste in transportation. It will provide the information necessary to properly prepare and handle these materials during transportation. In addition to lecture and discussion, students will participate in a hands-on document preparation workshop. This course complies with the training requirements of 49 CFR 172.700 - 172.704.
Intended Audience: This course is designed for employees who: handle, load or unload hazardous materials; prepare hazardous materials for transportation; are responsible for transporting hazardous materials; or operate a vehicle used to transport hazardous materials.
