Benefits: The OSHA Permit Required Confined Space Final Rule (29 CFR 1910.146) is aimed at protecting workers from toxic and other hazards associated with working in confined spaces. This course provides the required training for workers to prevent unauthorized entry into confined spaces.  Participants will gain knowledge in: identifying hazards utilizing the proper air monitoring instruments; proper usage of personal protective and safety equipment; and entrance into various types of confined spaces.
Intended Audience: Industrial hygienists, emergency medical personnel, firefighters, safety professionals, police officers, sanitary engineers, public works employees, chemical workers and waste water treatment workers.
