Who We Are
MISSION
The Office of Special Academic Programs (OSAP)
mission is to facilitate the entry and increase the number of educationally
and/or economically disadvantaged students in the health professions.
Our goal is to provide a comprehensive approach toward enriching
the environment of the medical school by achieving diversity of
the student body. "Pipeline Programs" directed by the
Office of Special Academic Programs include the Summer Science Scholars
Academy(S3A) for high school students, the Biomedical Careers Program
(BCP) for pre-health professional undergraduate students, and a
Pre-matriculation Summer Program (PSP) for incoming medical students. |
