DEPARTMENT OF PATHOLOGY AND LABORATORY MEDICINE

Effective organizations succeed because of a well-crafted operational structure and dedicated, resourceful employees. The UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is located on both sides of the Raritan river and on campuses including Southern Ocean County Hospital and Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton.

Administrative personnel are located at all of these sites, but UMDNJ administrative personnel are located primarily in New Brunswick and Piscataway.

Our New Brunswick location houses the office of the Chairman and his support staff including financial and operational personnel. The anatomic and clinical pathology residency program is housed in New Brunswick. In Piscataway, operational support is provided to multiple research efforts, as well as the teaching programs for second year medical and physician's assistants.
