Overview

In this lecture/webpage I will discuss our 12 year experience at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway/New Brunswick, New Jersey teaching second year medical students Pathology without lectures and with emphasis on self-learning and reading a textbook and primary literature. I will emphasize the role of computer based resources in this process.

I will then present results of this curriculum and provide several extended texts with details.

Finally, I will discuss the Politics of Curriculum reform, the Intellectual Property of Pathologists in the new curricula and the Future of Information Technologies in the study and practice of medicine.
