Overview
In this lecture/webpage I will discuss our 12 year experience at Robert
Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway/New Brunswick, New Jersey teaching
second year medical students Pathology without lectures and with emphasis
on self-learning and reading a textbook and primary literature. I will emphasize
the role of computer based resources in this process.
I will then present results of this curriculum and provide several extended
texts with details.
Finally, I will discuss the Politics of Curriculum reform, the Intellectual
Property of Pathologists in the new curricula and the Future of Information
Technologies in the study and practice of medicine.
