The Department of Physiology provides formal courses in Medical Physiology
for students in the Medical School, and also for students of the Physician
Assistants program. Its faculty also participate in other courses for
medical and graduate students. In addition, faculty of the department
participate in graduate instruction through various programs in the Graduate
School of Biological Sciences, and also in joint programs with Rutgers
University. Our research laboratories offer professional training every
academic level. These include postdoctoral fellowships, thesis support
for the Ph.D. and M.S. degrees, as well as mentored research projects
for medical students and undergraduate Rutgers students.
