| Rosenie Blanc, BS
Public Health Representative
Rosenie (Knikki) Blanc joined RWJAP in
September 2005 as a Public Health Representative working
on the Emergency Room Rapid HIV Test Project. Knikki
surveys Emergency Room patients regarding their willingness
to be tested for HIV, and performs Rapid HIV Testing when
appropriate and conducts HIV risk reduction education.
Knikki refers newly diagnosed HIV positive clients for
medical care and follow-up to Infectious Disease specialists
and assesses their need for additional psycho-social services.

Manuel J. Castaneda, BA
Family Case Manager
Manuel J. Castaneda, is the Family Case Manager for the
Robert Wood Johnson AIDS Program. As the Family
Case Manager, he is responsible for providing assistance
to and advocating for patients and their families concerning
non-medical issues such as but not limited to: financial/medical
benefits, state/federal programs, social services, and
legal issues. He also provides psychosocial support
and co-facilitates the program's youth support groups.
Manuel has over 10 years of experience working with the
HIV/AIDS community. He has conducted several workshops
and seminars on HIV related isssues both locally and nationally
and he was responsible for the completion of "AIDS
and the Law in New Jersey: A Practical Guide"
(2nd Edition).

Blanca Jackson, RN
Clinical Care Coordinator
Ms. Jackson is responsible for the day
to day clinical care operations for the Robert Wood Johnson
AIDS Program. As part of the Ryan White Part D programs,
she oversees the Minority AIDS Initiative (MAI) which
provides HIV counseling and testing for high-risk youth
in the region at various sites including residential youth
programs, after-school programs, and other community sites.
Blanca is bilingual and is a state certified HIV Counselor.
She is responsible for the New Jersey Division of AIDS
Services grant which funds Rapid HIV Counseling and Testing
in the Emergency Room and other on-site point of entries
along with two certified HIV counselors. Blanca's
love of children leads her to volunteer one week per summer
caring for the HIV infected children at Paul Newman's
Hole in the Wall Gang camp in Connecticut. |
Mary Jones, RN
Nurse Case Manager
Mary Jones is a Nurse Case Manager in
the Robert Wood Johnson AIDS Program. In her role as Nurse
Case Manager, Mary conducts home visits, encourages medication
compliance, and educates parents and HIV infected patients
on their disease, care and treatment options. Mary attends
the monthly Part A Case Managers Meetings to advocate
for the care of HIV infected children and their families. |
Judy Kenny, RN
Nurse Case Manager
Judy Kenny joined RWJAP in 2006 and provides
case managment services to HIV infected women. Judy
provides medical care coordination in partnership with
the RWJMS Adult Infectious Disease physicians, as well
as the Bristol Myers Squib Children's Hospital's High
Risk OB Clinic and GYN services. Judy attends the
Healthy Mothers/Healthy Babies meetings in Trenton, Plainfield,
and New Brunswick as part of RWJAP's perinatal HIV efforts.
Judy meets with HIV positive pregnant women off-site to
ensure a seamless continuum of care.

Roxanne Rengifo, BA
HIV Counselor
Roxanne Rengifo joined RWJAP in August
2008 as a bilingual HIV Counselor. Roxanne surveys

Debra Subers, RNC, BSN
Nurse Case Manager
Debra Subers is the RWJAP designated
DYFS nurse liaison who works in close association with
the Division of Youth and Family Services (DYFS) to insure
appropriate HIV care and treatment for DYFS supervised
children, including residents of Rainbow House in Trenton.
As the DYFS nurse liaison, Debra conducts training sessions
for DYFS Nurses, Case Workers, Special Home Special Program
parents, and other professionals. These training sessions
have been instrumental in improving DYFS' understanding
of the special needs of this fragile population. |

Patricia Ayala
Data Control Clerk
Patricia Ayala provides data entry and data coordination
services for the Robert Wood Johnson AIDS Program.
Patricia's work entails coordinating the HRSA Careware
database and keeping all medical records up to date.
Fatima Corona
Medical Technician
Fatima Corona, the "Med Tech" for the division
handles patient related inquiries for the infectious disease
physicians and the allergist.. Supporting the Staff
Assistant, Fatima resolves appointment conflicts, handles
requests for medical records, and keeps patient files
up to date. In addition she works with the pediatric
allergist assisting him in clinic.

Margaretanne Murray Reina, BA
Program Suppport Specialist
Margaretanne Reina provides administrative
and grant support for Robert Wood Johnson AIDS Program.
Working closely with the medical director and program
coordinator, Margaretanne monitors grant funds, oversees
data collection, prepares demographic and statistical
reports for the program's funding sources and provides
programmatic support for RWJAP's research efforts.

Lorraine Nowicki
Staff Assistant
Lorraine Nowicki provides administrative
support to the Division Chief, coordinates faculty appointments
and insurance credentialing, coordinates the education
electives for medical students and residents, and handles
patient inquiries and scheduling issues. Lorraine's dedication
to and compassion for the patients of the division has
been recognized many times by the doctors and parents
of the children we serve. |
