Dear Applicant:
Thank you for your interest in exploring the psychology internship
program at University Behavioral HealthCare and Robert Wood Johnson
Medical School-Department of Psychiatry at UMDNJ.
The internship program is a collaboration between the Robert Wood
Johnson Medical School Department of Psychiatry and University Behavioral
HealthCare. We are very proud of our internship program. We have
outstanding opportunities for training with a variety of client
populations including: child, adolescent and adults. There are unique
programs in such specialty areas as treatment of unexplained physical
symptoms, biofeedback, behavioral medicine and Latino mental health.
Please take the time to look over all the possible training opportunities.
We have 4 funded positions available which pay an annual stipend
of $22,000. We do adhere to APPIC requirements and ask that you
complete the APPIC application. Our program will be participating
in the APPIC Internship Matching Program. Therefore, you must obtain
an Applicant Agreement Package from the National Matching Services
and register for the Matching Program in order to be eligible to
match our program (tel: 416-977-3431). In addition, please include
your CV and three (3) letters of recommendation from individuals
who are in a position to evaluate your performance in psychology,
as well as an official graduate school transcript. Applications
may be filed until the deadline of December 3. Completed applications
are reviewed on a rolling basis so it is in your best interest to
submit your application as early as possible.
