Codey to Tour Stem Cell Research

TRENTON—Senate President Richard J. Codey, D-Essex, will tour the W.M. Keck Center for Collaborative Neuroscience at Rutgers University's Piscataway campus tomorrow, May 24, to meet with some of the state's leading stem cell scientists and view the progress that has been made since the state awarded $5 million in stem cell research grants this past December.
Sen. Codey will be joined by Sen. Barbara Buono, D-Middlesex, stem cell advocates, and various scientists, including Dr. Ronald Hart, one of the largest state grant recipients. The tour will begin at 11:00 a.m., followed by a media availability to discuss the progress that has been made.
