Full-time Ph.D. candidates in all of our programs receive

• Competitive Stipends for their entire training period
• Health Insurance
• Tuition payment

Periodically stipend levels are increased both for newly admitted and continuing students, in order to provide the level of support for full-time studies. For students enrolled in UMDNJ, all support is for education and research training, and students are not supported as teaching assistants. However, opportunities for training and experience in teaching are available to students.
