Here are a couple of my favorite photographs, the first taken in New Mexico, the second in Paris atop Notre Dame Cathedral.
 

 

This picture is taken in an Indian cermonial "pit".  In order to get the effect of the sunlight, a friend and I spent A LOT of time stamping up the dirt!
